When we decided to start our own firm, we were often asked, “Why make a change?” The attorneys who came together to form Vartabedian Katz Hester & Haynes were each succeeding with thriving, profitable practices at large, global firms—no one needed to make a change. However, we each shared a common vision; to offer more strategic focus for our clients’ needs. Specifically, we wanted to have more flexibility to align our interests with those of our key clients and provide more comprehensive legal services to those clients.

By creating a lean, focused boutique, we can simultaneously offer a deeper bench of experienced attorneys in our core areas, while avoiding the hurdles of the large, global-firm model of inflexible rate structures, conflicts, and limited ability to service all of our clients’ needs in our areas of expertise. Simply put, the new firm allows us to do more for our clients and charge them less. The question we get most from clients now is “why didn’t you do this sooner?”
