Case Overview

Represented CJM Resources, a Texas-based oil and gas operator, in litigation involving fraud claims by a mineral owner. Successfully obtained dismissal in CJM’s favor. After the plaintiff appealed, the unanimous Eastland Court of Appeals affirmed the dismissal. Hughes v. CJM Res., LP, 640 S.W.3d 623 (Tex. App. – Eastland 2022, no pet.).
