Case Overview

Partner Daniella Main of Vartabedian Katz Hester & Haynes LLP, with assistance from associate Georgina St. Johns, represented Air 6 Holdings LLC, an aviation parts supply and repair company, in the prosecution of a breach of contract against Wardaddy Aviation, Inc. Air 6 and Wardaddy entered into an agreement through which Air 6 repaired an aircraft part for Wardaddy in exchange for Wardaddy’s payment for Air 6’s services. After completing the requested repair, Air 6 provided the part to Wardaddy, which accepted the part in good working condition. Payment for Air 6’s services was due upon Wardaddy’s receipt of the invoice associated with the same. Wardaddy failed to remit payment in a timely manner, and Air 6 made numerous attempts to collect payment. After Wardaddy failed to respond to Air 6’s requests for payment, Air 6 filed a breach-of-contract claim in Tarrant County, Texas, seeking to recover the amount owed by Wardaddy. This case is in its early stages and remains pending.
